Sustainable Pilot Training Webinar

As part of EASA's sustainable aviation programme, developed in the context of the European Green Deal, a number of initiatives are being launched across the aviation domains consisting of various measures (technology, operations, airports, market-based measures). As pilot training is also considered an important area that can contribute to overcoming the environmental challenges, EASA will host a webinar to foster the sharing and promoting of ideas and best practices regarding sustainability in pilot training. Together with Industry, EASA aims to develop a set of good practices for use by approved (ATO) and declared (DTO) training organisations, including the introduction of a voluntary based Eco-merit system.
