Pontus Molin is EASA’s Resources and Support Director, leading the directorate which provides essential support to the Agency’s operational functions. RS comprises Human Resources (HR), legal & procurement, business services, and financial operations and also oversees infrastructure, logistics, stakeholder and partner relations.
Molin has worked in financial management and administrative services in the private and public sectors for over 25 years. He joined EASA in January 2026 from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, where he had been Head of Unit, Resource Management Services since June 2018, managing the agency’s human and financial resources.
He started his career at Daimler Benz AG in Germany as a Financial Controller, before joining the United Nations where he held various financial and policy roles based in New York (USA), Nairobi (Kenya) and Mogadishu (Somalia). Prior to joining ECDC, he was director of administration at the UN’s Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, based in Beirut, Lebanon.
Molin has an MBA from the Goethe University in Frankfurt.
