Fees & Charges — FAQ

Important Note: New Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2347 on the fees and charges levied by EASA  is applicable from 1 January 2026. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2153 is repealed. Both regulations can be consulted at https://www.easa.europa.eu/en/regulations/fees-and-charges.

We are gradually updating the EASA website to refer to the new fees and charges regulation (EU) 2025/2347 and its content. Website content still referring to repealed regulation (EU) 2019/2153 should therefore be considered outdated.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2347 (the fees and charges regulation) determines the tasks for which fees and charges are due to the Agency and establishes the amount of the fees and charges and the way in which they are to be paid.

EASA periodically reviews its fees and charges to align them with changes in the aviation sector and its own cost basis. Regulation (EU) 2025/2347 is the outcome of the latest review, it is applicable as of 1 January 2026.
