Replacement of paragraph 5.5.8 of SAE AS5385C “Cargo Restraint Straps - Design Criteria and Testing Methods” by paragraph 5.5.8 of ISO 16049-1-2013 “Air cargo equipment - Restraint straps - Part 1: Design criteria and test requirements”.

Deviate from ED-73E Chapter 5 to resolve contradictions between given test procedures and corresponding requirements.

Deviate from ED-73E Chapter 5 to resolve contradictions between given test procedures and corresponding requirements.

Deviate from ED-102A to resolve contradictions between given test procedures and corresponding requirements.

Deviates from ETSO‐C88a section 3.1.1 by using EUROCAE ED‐26 dated March 30, 1979 instead of SAE AS 8003.

To deviate from RTCA DO-260B Test 2.4.6.1.2 – Step 2 and to test the equipment with regard to bursts only to the actual behavior of a current (year 2015) TIS-B implementation in the US and to limit the use of the TIS function to the US.

To not system perform TIS-B to TIS-B airborne spatial correlation and to limit the use of the TIS-B function to the US.

Deviate from RTCA DO-283A section 2.2.2.7 by cancelling the offset mode after proceeding from a manually defined (present position) hold.

Deviate from RTCA DO-283A sections 2.2.2.12.2 by not supporting the RNP RNAV type coded in the navigation data base for the area.

Deviate from RTCA DO-283A section 2.2.4.1.2 by providing angular deviations for the analog approach deviation output.

Deviates from RTCA DO-283A section 2.2.4.1.2 by scaling the approach deviation against RNP value (full scale deviation – 2 dots) instead of the discrete scale value defined in table 2-2.
