Signing of the working arrangement

EASA and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) India concluded the signature a Working Arrangement covering the production of Airbus Helicopters AS350 B3 rotorcraft in Vemagal, India. The arrangement establishes a structured framework for cooperation between both authorities, supporting the extension of EASA’s Production Organisation Approval (POA) to the Vemagal facility and clarifying oversight responsibilities.

This milestone reflects the constructive and pragmatic dialogue developed over recent months and reinforces the channel for cooperation with one of the most promising markets for the EU aviation industry. It also creates a solid basis for further engagement, both at technical and strategic level, as we continue to support safe and efficient aviation development in India. Particular thanks are due to all teams involved on both sides for their sustained effort, flexibility, and commitment in bringing this arrangement to signature.
