As a part of the Eastern Partnership project (funded by the European Union and implemented by EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency) a group of 6 aerodrome and ANS inspectors of State Aviation Administration of Ukraine came to Ireland for a study visit to the Irish Aviation Authority, from 28 to 31 October 2025.
The visit included familiarisation with IAA certification and oversight procedures and the practical aspects of the relationship between the regulator and the regulated operators; this involved field trips to Cork Airport and Dublin Airport, AirNav Ireland and Ryanair.
