The project’s overall objective is too enhance capabilities to implement EU aviation acquis requirements of Common Aviation Area agreements and to increase the level of civil aviation safety in the Eastern Partnership countries by (1) improving the beneficiaries’ level of regulatory harmonisation with the relevant EU aviation acquis, including in the areas of safety, environmental protection, economic regulation, security, ATM and passenger rights and by (2) support the beneficiaries in establishing functioning and effective safety regulatory and oversight systems.
