Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM) published to support a harmonised application of airborne and ground-based surveillance systems

To assist in the implementation of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1207/2011 (the surveillance performance and interoperability (SPI) Regulation), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC) and Guidance Material (GM).

The AMC and GM are to support a harmonised application of airborne and ground-based surveillance systems in a safe, efficient, cost-effective and proportionate manner throughout the European ATM network (EATMN).

EASA published these AMC and GM as part of the ongoing commitment to support the stakeholders across the various airspace usage requirements that enable the continued improvement of the Single European Sky.
