04/11/2026, 12:00 – 14:00 CET (UTC +1)
Description
Get ready on time!
The EU Ground Handling Safety Regulations are effective since March 2025 and will become applicable as of 27 March 2028.
Declarations may be submitted as of 27 March 2027, but we advise Ground Handling Organisations to first contact their competent authority for further details.
Between 2025 and 2028, EASA organises a series of webinars aimed at helping the European industry to prepare for the implementation of the new safety rules on ground handling.
What we will discuss:
Ground Handling Training
The panellists will provide valuable insight on training of ground handling personnel, focusing on:
- What does the GH Regulation (EU) 2025/20 bring new about training compared to what GH organisations are doing today?
- Does your training programme already address the KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) components?
- Tips on how to cover the Attitude component during training
- Recurrent assessment – what is it, how can it be implemented?
- Do smaller GH organisations, e.g. smaller aerodromes providing GH services, address training differently? What are the challenges in implementing a training programme?
- What is the perspective of an aircraft operator?
- What is the perspective of a competent authority?
When:
4 November 2026, hrs 12:00 – 14:00 CET
Target audience:
- Training managers, trainers and assessors of GH organisations, self-handling aircraft operators, and aerodrome operators providing GH services
- Providers of ground handling training
