This Decision supports the implementation of Regulations (EU) 2026/100 and 2026/56 by adopting new and amending existing acceptable means of compliance (AMC) and guidance material (GM) to Part-M(L), Part-CAMO, Part-CAO and Part 21.
The regulatory material is intended to enhance aviation safety as well as harmonisation among stakeholders, address existing shortcomings and, together with amendments introduced by Regulations (EU) 2026/100 and 2026/56, contribute to the efficiency of the regulatory framework for the import of aircraft and the airworthiness review process.
Overall, the proposed regulatory material supports the strategic objectives outlined in Opinion No 08/2024, which include raising the standards applied when importing aircraft from non-EU regulatory systems, thus facilitating the transfer of aircraft between Member States and reducing unnecessary administrative burden associated with obtaining airworthiness review certificates.
