At a ceremony organised on 2 May 2016 in Cologne, Patrick Ky, EASA Executive Director handed over to Mr Temel Kotil, CEO of Turkish Airlines, an EASA approval for Turkish Airlines pilot training organisation.
Turkish Airlines adopts EU safety standards for pilot training and becomes the first major airline located outside the European Union to obtain an EASA approval for its pilot training organisation.
