Description
Web Conference, 29 November 2011 10:30-12:30h
Background
Part-SPO contains the technical safety rules for the commercial and non-commercial specialised operations (aerial work and other specialised activities). These European rules, when effective, will replace currently applicable national safety rules. The Comment Response Document (CRD) is the second text proposal of the Agency. Stakeholders can provide reactions to this proposal by 31 January 2012. After this "reaction phase", the Agency will provide a final proposal, which is named "Opinion".
Objective
This Web conference pursues two objectives:
- to familiarise stakeholders with the recently published CRD documents on NPA 2009-2b "Part-SPO" and to support them in submitting reactions to the CRD; and
- to provide stakeholders with the possibility to interact with members of the drafting team for questions and comments.
Target audience
This Web conference is aimed at stakeholders involved in the non-commercial operation of other-than complex motor-powered aircraft, in particular:
- employees of aviation authorities,
- aircraft operators,
- pilots, and
- aviation associations.
