Project Update Webinar: Impact of Security Measures on Safety

With the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Research Project ‘Impact of Security Measures on Safety’ in its second year of delivery, this webinar will provide a progress update on the project to date and summarise the study’s top priorities for the rest of 2024.

Task 1, ‘Identifying Safety/Security Dependencies’ is now complete (see the project webpage for the available deliverables). As a result, this session will primarily focus on the ongoing work under Task 2, ‘Assessment of the impact of security measures on safety’ and on the commencement of Task 3 ‘Analysis of certification standards’.

The webinar is open to aviation professionals from industry organisations and authorities and will highlight the opportunity for stakeholders to provide their input into the project findings.
