During 2008 and 2009 the Agency has issued the following 3 opinions related to Part-66:
- Opinion 05/2008: Time limit for demonstrating compliance with knowledge and experience requirements.
- Opinion 04/2009: Aircraft maintenance licences for non-complex aircraft (B3 and L licences).
- Opinion 05/2009: Privileges of B1 and B2 aircraft maintenance licences and Type and group ratings and Type rating training.
A consolidated version of these 3 opinions will be discussed by the Commission and Member States in an EASA Committee to be held/4/2010 before it can be formally adopted by the Commission as a final rule. In order to explain the content of the proposed consolidated text and to respond to questions from Stakeholders and National Authorities, we plan to hold a one-day workshop in Cologne on 16/3/2010.
