EASA FDM Conference 2017

The EASA Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Conference 2017 promotes the implementation and development of the most advanced use of Flight Data and related analysis techniques for the improvement of Aviation Safety.

The target participant group includes operators, aircraft manufacturers, universities and research organisations, regulators, flight crew associations and FDM software vendors from the world’s leading organisations in the FDM field.

The conference's presentations and discussions will focus on lessons learned by operators. Subject matter will cover the capturing and monitoring of safety issues, the analysis techniques being used, the merging of flight data with other sources of data and the integration of it in SMS programs within the airlines. The most up-to-date analysis techniques and subjects like Big Data and Machine Learning will be presented and are expected to further enrich discussions.

This conference is primarily for professionals working in FDM. At least a basic knowledge of FDM will be required in order to understand the presentation content.

Registration and registration fees

An administrative fee of EUR160 will be charged for the participation in the 2-day conference. Participation is free of charge for presenters.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

Substitutions and cancellations can be made until 01/06/2017. Please notify us as soon as possible at fdm-conference [at] easa.europa.eu (fdm-conference[at]easa[dot]europa[dot]eu).

Cancellations of an accepted registration must be made in writing to fdm-conference [at] easa.europa.eu (fdm-conference[at]easa[dot]europa[dot]eu) and will incur into a 25% non-refundable administrative fee per cancelled registration.

Delegates who request a cancellation on or after 01/06/2017 or delegates who fail to attend without prior notice are liable for the full attendance fee. Refunds of fees will be made after 13/08/2017. The attendance fee will not be prorated should delegates not attend the entire conference.

The hotel offers a special rate for participants to this meeting: a block of 40 standard rooms has been blocked for the night of 11 June and 12 June 2017 at a rate of 131 Euros (single room).
