Description
This three day Airworthiness Standardisation Meeting will include all aspects of Airworthiness previously discussed at the POA, CAW and LIC Standardisation Meetings, and will cover current Regulations (Part-21, Part-M, Part-145, Part-66 and Part-147) whilst focussing on the most prominent issues associated with those. The intention of this meeting is to try to reach a common understanding of the Regulations in the various areas of Airworthiness and, where possible, to decide on standardisation application of the Regulations.
Taking into account the good experience and positive feedback from the previous Airworthiness Standardisation Meetings, the Agency is keeping open the invitation to all NAA-staff working in the various fields of Airworthiness. It is particularly recommend that, in addition to the policy-makers, the team members involved in EASA Standardisation Inspections attend. For the first time the Agency is taking this opportunity to share the Agency experience as competent authority for non-EU organisations through a joint session between Standardisation and Organisations Approvals which will be held on the last day of the meeting.
