Description
Meeting room 04.049
- Starting 09h00
- Ending 17h00
The fruitful cooperation established with Member States has allowed us to publish three editions of the European Aviation Safety Plan, our roadmap for safety improvement in Europe. We remain committed to ensure that the system for the management of aviation safety in Europe delivers a safety performance that is the best of any world region, uniformly enjoyed across the whole region, and continuing to improve over time. The EASp summits have become the forum to exchange views, take a look at safety issues together and review the performance of the aviation system. The 4th EASp summit will take place in Cologne on Thursday 7th November 2013 During this one day activity we will evaluate together how the EASp is being implemented in the Member States as well as in which ways we could improve the approach to better coordinate our efforts; hence making a difference in the way we manage safety in aviation. We will be able to present you the draft fourth edition of the EASp addressing the period between 2014 and 2017. This will be an excellent opportunity to validate and discuss specific actions with the States involved in the implementation of the EASp. This event is targeted at Member States
