Description
Eight months after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a public health emergency, the worldwide aviation safety community continues to feel its impact. As the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) observe recognized social distancing guidelines, we continue to deliberate how best to provide a safety conference or another forum for regulators and aviation stakeholders to openly and collaboratively discuss our shared safety challenges and solutions.
In consideration of recommendations regarding large, in-person gatherings that may be in place for the foreseeable future, we have postponed the in-person 2021 FAA-EASA Aviation Safety Conference until 2022. We are working to secure dates and a location for the 2022 event. We will continue to keep you appraised of new developments in the planning of the event.
We wish you and your loved ones a safe and healthy holiday season, and we look forward to staying in touch.
