Possible Improper Maintenance by Repair Station Xtra Aerospace, LLC.

On November 7, 2019 the FAA has published a SAFO (Safety Alert for Operators) 19005.

This SAFO alerts aircraft owners, operators, air agencies, and maintenance technicians of possible improper maintenance performed by Xtra Aerospace, LLC. (Xtra) repair station, which held Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificate No. 1ARR023B. The alleged improper maintenance involves potentially any article that Xtra approved for returned to service. The organisation also held EASA approval nr. EASA.145.6136, which was revoked as well.
