Information received during an FAA suspected unapproved parts investigation revealed that there are two experimental (uncertified) flight test aircraft engines, Model CF34-10E that may or have been offered for sale that have not been deemed type or production certified by the Production Certificate holder per Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations, part 21 and therefore are not eligible for installation on type-certificated aircraft with a Standard Airworthiness Certificate or for issuance of a Standard Airworthiness Certificate.
