Information received during an FAA Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) investigation revealed that between October 2012 and January 2013, SNI Corporation, 2525 State Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, produced and sold Airplane Seat Belt Extenders Model A without FAA TSO Authorization. The seat belts were not marked in accordance with TSO-C22g (Safety Belts) requirements. Consequently, these Airplane Seat Belt Extenders Model A, were not manufactured and tested to the necessary standards required for use on U.S. certificated aircraft.
