Information received during an FAA Suspect Unapproved Part investigation revealed that during the period between July 2008 and February 2011, Electrospec, Inc. sold the referenced transistors that were not traceable to an approved manufacturer in accordance with the controlling specification and the origin of the components could not be verified. Investigative results revealed the transistors were most likely reclaimed, refurbished and distributed as new.
