The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) received information during a Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) investigation that there are non-conforming Thrust Reverser Actuator Clevis Pins that may be 0.12” minimum oversized. Longer pins can be installed but the excess length will not allow the pin retention clip to seat properly and may cause installation or clearance issues. Further investigation revealed that FAA Form 8130-3 tags originally issued by the manufacturer, Middle River Aircraft Systems (MRAS), to Diversified Transport Inc. have been altered to indicate a larger quantity than originally sold by MRAS.
