Suspected Unapproved Parts Details

Information received during an investigation conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) revealed that between January 2002 and November 2007 Concord International Aerospace, Inc. (Concord), a parts distributor located at S-107 Farview Avenue (sometimes represented as Fairview Avenue), Paramus, New Jersey 07652, sold aircraft parts using fraudulently produced documents that included FAA airworthiness approval tags and traceability documents. Evidence indicated Concord made, or caused to be made, part certifications and FAA airworthiness approval tags that contained false statements regarding the actual condition of aircraft parts. The investigation also revealed Concord falsified numerous FAA Forms 8130-3, Authorized Release Certificate, and traceability documents using the signature of a deceased FAA designated airworthiness representative (DAR) and forged documentation in the name of U.S. air carriers to verify traceability of the parts sold.
