Through the SIASA project, EASA works with Sub-Saharan African countries and regional organisations to:
- Raise common safety standards, including in air navigation;
- Enhance safety oversight and reinforce expertise;
- Resolve specific safety concerns.
This is done by bringing safety expertise together. It includes training authority staff, placing short-term experts and organising working groups and conferences to address technical questions.
