Aviation Health Safety Protocol (AHSP) training for National Authorities

Joint effort for safe air travel
AHSP training for NAAs

The EASA-ECDC Aviation Health Safety Protocol (AHSP) represents a multi-layered approach based on the ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ process for aviation safety management, occupational health, and public safety. The AHSP gives guidance on how to protect passengers and aviation personnel, restore confidence in air travel, and ensure a harmonised return to passenger transport operations both within and outside Europe.

The proposed training material provides a series of tools to complement the advice of public health authorities, help the national authorities to monitor the implementation of the recommended measures, and to provide advice where needed, while facilitating the coordination and harmonisation with other national entities.

Furthermore, it is intended to help aviation stakeholders to implement an effective health and safety protection for passengers and aviation personnel.
