CS-ACNS erules

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has updated the Easy Access Rules (EAR) for Airborne Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CS-ACNS) with CS-ACNS Issue 3.

The EAR for CS-ACNS incorporate all the amendments introduced so far to CS-ACNS: initial issue, Issue 2, and Issue 3, displayed in a consolidated, easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks.

CS-ACNS Issue 3 was published under ED Decision 2021/008/R, which amended the certification specifications (CSs), acceptable means of compliance (AMC), and guidance material (GM) on locating an aircraft in distress.

The document is available for free download from the EASA website and will be regularly updated to incorporate further changes and evolutions to its content.
