EASA launches aircraft noise certificate database to create single source of information

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has launched the Aircraft Noise Certificate or Equivalent Noise Documentation database, establishing a central single source of such information for Europe. The data, provided by aircraft operators, will be made available to air navigation service providers, airports and competent authorities for operational purposes. The single database ensures that the same information is used by all parties for monitoring of noise levels and other requirements.

The database was created to fulfil Reg. (EU) 598/2014 Article 7 (2) legal requirements and is open only to eligible users, who need to register to gain access.
