Description
The event will be dedicated to the implementation of the mixed EBT pursuant the ED Decision 2015/027/R published in December 2015, as well as the milestones achieve in RMT.0599 Competency and Evidence based training.
The aim is to hold an interactive workshop attended by representatives from the commercial air transport fixed-wing and helicopter community, training organisations and National Aviation Authorities. The workshop will give the opportunity to exchange views with industry and NAA representatives across Europe.
The workshop will start on 1 February 2017 at 09:00 hrs with a presentation of Evidence Based training where training experts from the industry, National Aviation Authorities as well as EASA will be available to assist with any questions.
As for the previous workshops, the intent is to have industry and NAAs presenting practical implementation issues and to allow for a broad discussion. This is an opportunity to raise any rule issues with EASA while the workshop also allows to share best practices across the industry.
The draft agenda will be published soon. The main topics of discussion will focus on the following aspects:
- ICAO Doc 9995 Manual of Evidence Based training
- Data report for Evidence Based training
- ED decision 2015/027/R Implementation of evidence-based training (EBT) within the European regulatory framework
- Mixed implementation of EBT (Operator)
- Mixed implementation of EBT (Authority oversight)
- Progress of Rulemaking task 0599 Evidence-based and competency-based training
- Non commercial complex motor power aircraft (NCC) proposal for Section 1 to subpart ORO.FC Regulation (EU) 965/2012
- Concept paper of Alternative training means
The workshop will only be successful if you raise your topics with the Agency in advance. If you have any particular topic that you like to see being addressed or question to be answered, please contact us at FCL [at] easa.europa.eu by 15 December 2016 at the latest. The topics or questions should be dedicated to the Parts and Subparts indicated above. The workshop is not intended to provide explanations of the rules, but rather to discuss implementation issues.

Cancellations and Refund Policy
Substitutions and cancellations can be made until 15/01/2017. Please notify us as soon as possible at FCL [at] easa.europa.eu.
Cancellations of an accepted registration must be made in writing to FCL [at] easa.europa.eu and will incur into a 25% non-refundable administrative fee per cancelled registration.
Delegates who request a cancellation on or after 16/01/2017 or delegates who fail to attend without prior notice are liable for the full attendance fee. Refunds of fees will be made after 01/04/2017.
The attendance fee will not be prorated should delegates not attend the entire conference.
