This Revision from December 2024 of the Easy Access Rules for Standardised European Rules of the Air (EAR for SERA) incorporates the following rules:
- Regulation (EU) 2023/1772 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012 as regards the operating rules related to the use of Air Traffic Management and Air Navigation Services systems and constituents in the Single European Sky airspace and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1033/2006;
- Regulation (EU) 2024/404 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012 as regards the updates of relevant ICAO provisions, the completion of the radio communication failure procedure and removing the supplement to the Annex to that Regulation;
- ED Decision 2024/007/R establishing the related acceptable means of compliance and guidance material (AMC & GM) to support the application of the amendments to Regulation (EU) 2024/404; and
- Regulation (EU) 2024/1111 amending Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011, Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012, Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, as regards the establishment of requirements for the operation of manned aircraft with a vertical take-off and landing capability.
The EAR for SERA are available for free download on the EASA website:
- as a pdf in an easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks;
- as a dynamic online publication with filters and search functions for simple navigation using computers, tablets, and mobile phones; and
- in an xml format with machine-readable content.
As the publication is generated through the eRules platform, it will be regularly updated to incorporate further changes and evolutions to the implementing rules (IRs), and the related AMC & GM.
