Member of the South Asia Regional Initiative (SARI), aiming at the harmonisation of safety regulations and working procedures among the countries in the region. EASA actively supports SARI by organising technical activities and setting up working groups for the development of regulations based on EU rules.

MoU between EASA and Maldives Civil Aviation Authority 
EASA and the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on closer cooperation in regulatory harmonisation and technical support in the area of aviation safety.
