Significant Standards Difference (SSD) are an integral part of the EASA certification basis for validation. EASA SSDs refer to EASA airworthiness standards that either differ significantly from the FAA standards or have no FAA equivalent, as defined in EASA/FAA TIP Rev. 6 §3.5.13.
For pairs of EASA/FAA airworthiness codes applicable to a project for which there is no published SSDs list, the Agency shall be consulted to get the adequate list of SSDs.
The below table reflects the EASA Significant Standards Differences (SSD) for Airworthiness.
