Design Organisation Disagreement

Disagreement form fill-in instructions

The Disagreement Form enables key personnel of a Design Organisation to report any case of disagreement experienced during design organisation approval (DOA) oversight/initial certification.
The below is a non-exhaustive list of examples:

  • Disagreement in DOA initial certification about:
    • compliance with Part 21 requirements and related acceptable means of compliance (AMC) and/or guidance material (GM);
    • proposed alternative means of compliance (AltMoC) to a published AMC;
    • suitability of test facilities;
    • granting access to facilities of the DOA holder/applicant or of any other partner/subcontractor (or continuous postponement in doing so).
  • Disagreement in DOA oversight about:
    • the existence or classification of a finding;
    • corrective action plans or their extensions;
    • implemented corrective actions;
    • granting access to facilities of the DOA holder/applicant or of any other partner/subcontractor (or continuous postponement in doing so);
    • compliance with Part 21 requirements and related AMC/GM;
    • proposed AltMoC to a published AMC.
  • Disagreement in participation in industry initiatives about the content of industry standards set by industrial associations.
