To assist in the implementation of Commission Regulation (EC) 29/2009 on datalink services, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has compiled a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) on datalink services and published them on EASA’s website under the category ‘Airspace Usage requirements – DLS/CPDLC’.
These FAQs are intended to support operators’ understanding of the datalink/controller-pilot datalink (CPDLC) equipage requirements and the flight operations using CPDLC.
EASA published these FAQs as part of ongoing development of guidance and support to stakeholders across the various airspace usage requirements.
