The purpose of the forum is to review the current challenges and opportunities facing civil aviation in South East Asia and to help propose a way forward, with particular reference to two other important regional meetings concluded, i.e. APANPIRG/29 and RASG-APAC/8 and the following day’s COSCAP-SEA Steering Committee Meeting and EU-South East Asia Aviation Partnership Project Management Board Meeting.
This dialogue will bring together high level officials, including Directors General of Civil Aviation, aviation industry leaders and development partners, who will address a broad spectrum of topics relevant to aviation development in South East Asia, such as the ASEAN Single Aviation Market (ASAM), Seamless ASEAN Sky and emerging risks such as cybersecurity and drones.
