Third Country Operators (TCOs) engaging in commercial air transport (CAT) operations in Europe will soon be subject to the new safety-driven Regulation (EU) 452/2014 (dubbed the Part-TCO Regulation), whereby EASA authorisation will have to be obtained to fly into the EU.
To ensure that operators have all the necessary information regarding the application process, transition period, online tools, and reciprocity conditions, EBAA and EASA are holding a TCO seminar on 24 September in Cologne, Germany.
This new regulation will have a substantial impact on non-EU operators, so make sure you have your business in order before the 6-month period for application ends on 25 November 2014 by registering now!
This seminar will cover the following topics:
- TCO regulation and associated AMC/GM
- Application process
- Introduction into the TCO web-interface
- TCO Transition period
- Continuous Monitoring
- Ad-hoc notification procedure
- Reciprocity with respect to FAA rules and the
- EBAA information campaign on illegal flights
