Through the EASP project, EASA works with Euromed countries to:

  • Assist partner countries towards EU civil aviation safety standards;
  • Provide expertise on the practical implementation of EU civil aviation safety rules;
  • Promote greater mutual awareness and technical contacts between EASA and its Euromed partners, as well as among the partner countries themselves.

The tools to achieve this are: bringing safety expertise together; providing training and short-term experts; and addressing specific technical issues at dedicated working groups and meetings.
