Through AATIP, EASA contributes to the achievement of a safe, secure and sustainable ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Single Aviation Market, based on high regulatory standards.

EASA works with the ASEAN Secretariat and member states to support the:

  • Harmonisation of aviation safety, security, air traffic management, environmental protection, market liberalisation, application of competition laws and economic regulations;
  • definition of frameworks or procedures to support the establishment of a Single Aviation Market;
  • Progress towards ASEAN institutional development and capacity building.
