Colour vision is the ability of the eye to distinguish objects based on the wavelengths (or frequencies) of the light they reflect, emit, or transmit.
The literature review aims to assess the possible need to amend the colour vision testing requirements for aircrews in order to efficiently the mitigate the risk to flight safety resulting from colour deficient pilots in the context of the evolving operational environment.
