The main objective of the project is to define and evaluate a series of visual augmentations for VFR helicopter flight with the aim to mitigate the potential hazards associated to DVE.
The information to be provided to Pilots through adequate visual aids to enhance visual and/or audio queuing and situational awareness, e.g. proximity with terrain, ground (closing distance / altitude) or unusual attitude.
