Description
ICAO & EASA are jointly organising the Second Forum on Regional Safety Oversight Organizations (RSOOs) for Global Aviation Safety, which will be held from 10 to 12 October 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The objectives of this event are to:
- update States, industry and international organisations on the relevance of regional cooperation and resources needed to reach sustainability;
- discuss the contributions provided by RSOOs to States to enhance safety oversight requirements and share success stories and challenges of RSOOs;
- emphasise the need to enhance regional and global partnerships involving new stakeholders, to address challenges that RSOOs currently face; and
- discuss practical steps for the way forward, sustainability for all regional mechanisms on safety oversight, as well as accident and incident investigation.
The event will be held in English, with simultaneous translation in French.
