Does this means that these aircraft can not be used for training for LAPL or PPL ?. If this is correct I feel that EASA should make this possible and include MLA’s in the training for EU licences and count the hours for recency for EU PPL and LAPL.. My understanding was that this was still subject of discussion is this still the case?

It is indeed important first to have a good plan and then to accept to deviate from it if the situation evolves! That's a perfect way to counteract the well-known "Get-there-itis" bias.

Much to my disapproval the UK has now stated its intention to leave EASA. I own a G (UK) Registration aircraft which is kept in the UK but as I work in the Hague I fly a PH (Dutch) Reg Aircraft and my PPL SEP is issued under EASA Kiwa Authority (Dutch). Would anyone have any thoughts on where this will go....I imagine EASA will allow a transition period and then the UK will be classed as a 3rd country therefore I can see being caught in the middle and not being able to fly in both countries as believe you can only hold one PPL from one State at any time.
