... in concern of mental health

Since Jan.28th 2019 we have AMC&GM to Part MED challenging aeromedical examiners by applying MED.B.055 ... assessing mental health of applicants for medical Class I and Class II, but not Class LAPL.

Everybody will know and understand what has triggered the development on having a closer look onto character, or maybe mental strength (or weakness) of people whom we later trust hundreds of lifes in commercial aviation.

Statistics and lists show (see link below), that from time to time a person find itself in such unstable mental situation that it can´t control its behaviour based on reasonable aspects. Several of those incidents are based on losing job and are directed towards former employer, others find reason in loss of love or other actual emotional experiences ... but some are simply based on weak mental capability to cover one´s life. None of those was based on stress caused by unexpected challenges during flight operation and difficulties to recover from whatever has happenedit has happened. ...

Following this verbous introduction here´s comes my question to the EASA-Land flying community including commercials:
"How do aviation authorities cover this challenge in applying MED.B.055?
Do they find way to handle this sensible issue to an extend that applicants for medical certificates understand and accept there might be something valuable in this?

Situation in Germany is like CAA (LBA) has designed a questionaire consisting of around 20 questions partly touching quite intimate aspects of human life. How do your CAA cover this and are the means taken understood and accepted?
For my own, in severals of those questions it was first time considering about such. :)

In the latest Learning Objectives I can find (https://www.easa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/dfu/appendix_to_amc_gm_t…), why are there differences (e.g. page 11) between the CB-IR and BIR? This should be basic knowledge for all ratings, right? E.g. how to close a flight plan... Has an X been forgotten on a few rows?

Hello everyone, I hope you are all safe. Could you guys from EASA tell, what one need to perform sightseeing flights with GA (non-complex) aircraft? Is AOC necessary, or an SPO declaration would be sufficient? Many thanks for answer !
