Workshop for the Skydiving Community

This workshop is organised by EASA in close cooperation with Austro Control, TrafiCom Finland and Transportstyrelsen Sweden. It's purpose is to discuss the specific safety aspects of parachuting and skydiving aircraft operations.

The event is targetted at national authorities (EASA Member States only) involved in parachute operations, associations and large skydiving operators.

The workshop includes presentations on the major accidents, identified safety issues and lessons learned. Participants are invited to actively share their experience and measures to improve safety and prevent accidents.

Following this workshop it is intended that the skydiving community can develop a sample operation manual and guidance material.
