This Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) proposes to amend the acceptable means of compliance (AMC) and guidance material (GM) to the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 due to the introduction of a new version of the specific operations risk assessment, i.e. SORA 2.5.
The objective is to introduce some simplifications while maintaining a high level of safety for the operation of unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) in the ‘specific’ category, and to improve the level of harmonisation in the implementation of the Regulation while fostering a level playing field.
