EASA can you check  EASA Access Rules for FCL.
https://www.easa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/dfu/Easy_Access_Rules_fo…

There seems to be a lack of details on PPL(A) in the document for info there,s no details for recency requirements for PPL(A)  but only LAPL. Also were is the information on allowing Annex 1 Type E  aircraft in the document.

Its seem some countries authorities are not allowing Annex 1 type E to count towards recency requirements for PPL(A) or LAPA(A)  ,   whilst others are allowing Annex type E but only on LAPL(A) .

Hello Trevor. For PPL(A), the equivalent of recency is addressed through FCL.740.A: Revalidation of class and type ratings. I don't know the answer to your question about allowing Annex 1 type E to count.

The AMC/GM are actually to be found in 'AMC1 FCL.140.A; FCL.140.S; FCL.740.A(b)(1)(ii) Recency and revalidation requirements' which, although in Subpart B to Annex 1 of the Easy Access Rules for Aircrew, i.e. the LAPL section, does include reference to FCL.740.A(b)(1)(ii) for the PPL..
