Regular and continual assessment of engineering skills are essential to ensure both best practice and safety when working on AGL equipment. The keeping of personal logbooks ensures that the training needs of the individual are being maintained, and auditing can ensure this. This, with regular updates on technology and regulatory factors, as well as independent assessments on a regular basis, will ensure that AGL engineering personnel are capable of working safely and effectively to ensure compliance on an airfield.

2 years ago PublicI can't find the requirement to have the Minimum Required Fuel in the Operational Flight Plan.
Both CAT.OP.MPA.181 and the AMC require us to have the Taxi, Trip, Contingency, Alternate, Final Reserve, Additional, Extra and Discretionary in the Operational Flight Plan but I can't find the requirement to have the Minimum Required Fuel there. What am I missing? Thanks -

Brent Van Sand • 2 years agoIt would be nice if the standard phraseology were extended to cover domains such as ballooning, drones,... During my balloon flights in controlled airspace, I can happily express myself in English, but let that not be standard phraseology taught to me during my initial RT training, let alone known to other airspace users.
