This Revision from July 2024 of the Easy Access Rules (EAR) for Initial Airworthiness and Environmental Protection (Regulation (EU) No 748/2012) incorporates the following:
- Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1358 of 12 June 2022 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1361 of 28 July 2022 introducing the new Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012;
- Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1645 of 14 July 2022 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/203 of 27 October 2022 introducing requirements for the management of information security risks;
- Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1028 of 20 March 2023 on the definition of complex motor-powered aircraft and corrections;
- ED Decision 2023/010/R and ED Decision 2023/014/R amending the AMC and GM to Annex I (Part 21) to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012; and
- ED Decision 2023/013/R issuing the Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material (AMC and GM) to Annex Ib (Part 21 Light) to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012.
The EAR for Initial Airworthiness and Environmental Protection (Regulation (EU) No 748/2012) are available for free download on the EASA website:
- in an easy-to-read pdf format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks;
- as a dynamic online publication with filters and search functions for simple navigation using computers, tablets, and mobile phones; and
- in an xml format with machine-readable content.
As the EAR book is generated through the eRules platform, it will be regularly updated to incorporate further amendments to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 and to the related AMC and GM.
