EASA has recently launched a Safety Promotion Campaign on Airspace Infringements. Videos prepared by Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, the UK and EASA are already available on the EASA web site. To complement this initiative the Sunny Swift story, published this month, illustrates the issue with a common situation. Bad weather conditions are forcing the pilot to divert and enter into controlled airspace.

Noting the excellent reference to the EHEST leaflet on Weather Threat Management, I wish using this opportunity to welcome helicopter colleagues to the EASA GA Community!
