EFBs

Hi guys!

Could any of you give me some insight into the use and the current legal framework of EFBs in GA.NCO ops? Is there any circular  or official recommendation such as the FAA Advisory Circular 91-78?

I apologize if the question sounds stupid but I promise in my flight club there is a lack of knowledge about the matter and I want to go beyond the classic “as far as it doesn’t affect your normal flying, use it.”
